Our CCW Classes are catered to beginners… SAFE, low stress, personal attention, lots of fun and humor… and quality instruction you can not find anywhere else.
We know that between the virus and the riots and the current political climate, demand is up for CCW classes. Like many instructors, we are doing our best to hold more classes to meet the needs of our students. We are even hosting a class at a location, which both allows more seats and also allows us to spread out and distance a little better.
If you are interested in learning gun safety, proper handgun shooting techniques or want to know the rules and laws for concealed carry of a handgun, THIS IS CLASS MEETS ALL YOUR NEEDS. You will learn everything you need to become a safe and responsible gun owner with solid shooting skills.
Even if you do not own a handgun yet, we have several handguns available to loan out for use during the class (we do charge a small fee for any ammunition we provide). This will help you determine the right type of handgun for you before you go shopping at your local gun store.
Training certificates are issued to students on the day of class. Upon completion, you will have met all the legal requirements needed to apply for your concealed carry permit.
Register quickly, this year has been a great year for CCW instruction and we have been selling out all of our classes!
We Have Three Upcoming Classes at our Taylor Mill Training Center
- Saturday, May 15th at 8:00 am (completely booked as of 4/30/2021)
- Saturday, June 5th at 8:00 am (completely booked as of 4/30/2021)
- Saturday, June 26th at 8:00 am (12 seats left as of 4/30/2021)
*note – our classroom fills a max 12 people and does not provide a great deal of physical distancing. If this concerns you, we please ask that you sign up for our other large class (below) or wait until you feel comfortable to join at a later time.
We are holding a special CCW class with more seats and more room to spread out. This location even has an onsite outdoor range!
- Currently no classes scheduled at this location
This larger class will be held at a private event facility at Benton’s Family Farm. The room can hold significantly more than 40; but, we are limiting the size in order to accommodate better physical distancing for the time being. If restrictions are lifted by the KY Governor’s office, we may increase the available number of seats. This site also has a private outdoor shooting range. So, we will not need to travel from the class site in order to do the live-fire exercises. We are also bringing in extra instructors, so the instructor to student ratio will be kept low, with lots of individual attention.
Classes include a minimum of 6 hours of class time plus live shooting exercises.
Our highly-qualified Instructors have certifications from the following organizations:
- The National Rifle Association (NRA)
- The United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA)
- The Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training (former).
We aim to provide the safest, most informative and most enjoyable concealed carry class in the Greater Cincinnati Area.
This class meets all of the legal requirements for Kentucky Concealed Carry of a Deadly Weapon Permit (CCDW) and Ohio Concealed Handgun License (CHL) requirements.
Cost is $75.00
You will attend class from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Training Certificates are issued at the end of class.
Class topics include:
- Firearm Safety at home, at the range and carrying in public

Cancellation Policy: non-refundable if cancelled less than 14 days prior to class… students who have paid will be given the chance to take a future class within the calendar year. This will strictly be adhered to. As a business, we must pay rent for the facility we use. If you cancel less than 14 days before the class, we may not be able to fill the open seat in time and it harms our ability to pay rent.
