This is a combined course in which the student will receive training certificates covering the requirements for both Ohio CCW and Florida non-resident CCW permit applications. These courses are combined in order to simplify the process required if students wish to gain the extra States which are covered under reciprocities with the State of Florida’s permit.
This course contains the content required by the State of Ohio, in compliance with Ohio Revised Code section 2923.125 (G)(1), including a competency examination required by Ohio Revised Code 2923.125 (G)(2), an Ohio Resident needs to apply for their Concealed Carry of a Weapons (CCW) permit.
Also covered in this course is the content required by the State of Florida, described in Chapter 790 of the Florida Statutes, a student needs in order to apply for the Florida non-resident CCW Permit. This also includes a written examination and practical live fire exercise.
Please note: This course for the Ohio permit is open to Ohio Residents Only.
The cost for this Course is $65.00
Students Will Need to Bring to the Course:
- 100 rounds of Factory Ammunition (no reloads – sorry, this is a course requirement)
- Eye and ear protection for the range.
- Lunch, snacks, beverages… this is 8 hours of class time, you will get hungry.
- Writing Implements and a notepad… note taking is highly encouraged.

Classroom time is approximately 8 hours (as required by Ohio Revised Code) including the applicant written test. Live fire exercises will be held offsite at a local shooting range.
